Licensed Insurance Agent / Customer Service Representative

Southernmost Insurance, a local insurance agency, is currently hiring for a full-time Licensed Agent / Customer Service Representative. We are seeking a motivated individual with an entrepreneurial spirit to join our dynamic team.


Responsibilities:

  • Present and sell insurance policies to new and existing clients.
  • Develop customized plans based on clients’ unique needs.
  • Resolve client inquiries and address complaints promptly.
  • Expand our business reach through effective networking techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with insurance standards and regulations.
  • Continuously track and identify areas for improvement.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an insurance agency or brokerage.
  • Active P&C License (4-40 or 2-20) preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong multitasking, organizational, delegation, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in PC applications, including Microsoft Office.
  • Exceptional personal character, including a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to assist others.


Position Details:

  • Work hours: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
  • Benefits: Paid time off, abbreviated work week,  bonus potential, and medical/dental/life benefits available.
  • Salary: Commensurate with experience.
